QA 2026 Photography policy

Event photography is only permitted using our nominated photographer and photos will only be uploaded to a password protected gallery visible solely to members. If you prefer not to be photographed please do instruct our authorised photographer accordingly. Even if you're in the background of a shot you will then be blurred or removed!

Photos may not be copied, downloaded, edited, cropped or in any other way utilised except for online viewing via the private QA galleries. In particular all photos will contain a QA watermark and this shall not be removed. Use of our event photography on any social networking sites (including but not limited to Fetlife.com) is strictly forbidden.

Membership will be revoked immediately (and we will require digital media to be destroyed) if these terms are breached. Sorry to be tough, but it’s necessary to be very clear on this point. If you wish to use your mobile phone during an event please leave the room and use it elsewhere.

We may propose imagery (or make compilation images) for use on our website and or chat group. In this instance we will either blur (to be unrecognisable) or ask every individual in the shot(s) for their permission first. You are under no obligation to give that permission!
