We operate as a membership club. So, to attend ANY QA event you need to be either a member, or the guest of a specified member. It is hoped that many of our guests will elect to become members in their own right once they’ve been to their first event, but this is of course not mandatory.

Guests may not simply continue to attend our events however, as this isn’t fair on all our members who are then effectively subsidising their presence. A guest appearance is exactly that, a one-time opportunity to sample QA "in the flesh" before you commit.

Total guest numbers will normally be capped at 20% of the attendees.

Given the fact that QA resumed after quite a pause, I decided to offer a short “trial membership” which covered the costs of relaunching and mounting our first full Soirée (Jan 26th).

It was generally agreed that both the pre-relaunch drinks (Trisha's 1st December 2025) and "REDUX" - our first full Soirée (Soho 26th January) were "triumphant" successes and QA is very definitely back!

So going forwards there's a discounted annual membership option for those who expect to be able to attend most events, or an open-ended option for those who may be more "irregular"! Both cost £100. There is also a cheaper “overseas” membership (£50 per annum) for those who are unlikely to make it to London and finally our "trial membership" for a single first event (£35) that allows people to check us out (and vice versa) before committing to one of our longer term membership options.

We also organise house parties where the host(s) may require an additional cover charge for catering/drinking etc - membership will be required to attend but there will be additional costs per event. This will be detailed in advance once these events commence.

Everyone who paid their initial/trial membership fee by 31 December 2025 and then attended REDUX may either retain Founder membership (4 events, 12 month expiry) or switch to Continuous membership (3 events, no time limit) using our membership portal. Founder Members also enjoy various perks including priority to introduce newcomers as their guests!

All payments should be made via bank transfer to our nominated account (accepts GBP & EUR). Details via our membership portal. No cash on the night, and no Primadonna special cases. Thanks!

New members will be asked to complete a simple form online and are then "pending" members while we confirm your bank transfer - please use your QA member name as the reference to hook things together. This system also shows who is attending each event, and offers a short biography and a unique avatar which need not be a photo!
